Dale Hansford

Head Coach

With extensive knowledge and years of experience in physical training, nutrition, and rehabilitation, Dale is known for his straightforward and personalized approach that has helped countless clients with previously limited success achieve rapid changes.

Throughout his career, Dale has coached state and national record holders in powerlifting and rehabilitated both general clients and world-champion track cyclists with chronic and acute injuries. He has also helped clients enhance their physique and achieve personal bests in and out of the gym.

Dale has studied extensively from the world’s best practitioners in Strength Training, Functional Nutrition, and Soft Tissue Treatment such as Charles Poliquin, Andre Benoit, Wolfgang Unsold, Stephane Cazeault, and Yves Nadeau. A big believer in learning, Dale continues to upskill himself.

Will Reid

Strength Coach

Will started as a Coach at Optimal Health in 2021, and brings vibrant enthusiasm to his role as Personal Trainer and leader of our Semi-Private Training groups. Will started as a long-term client at OH, transitioning into the role of Personal Trainer after experiencing the OH team’s attention to detail and thoroughness while training with Coaches Brent and Dale. Now, Will embodies those same qualities, bringing them to each client that he trains. Will is no stranger to hard work, having represented Australia internationally in karate, before making the transition to MMA.
